What is not a warranty claim
A key lost again is a new key rather than a claim, priced from the public table like any other. If a second key still starts the car, that is a spare-key job; if none does, the $60 all-keys-lost add applies.
Physical damage is the second: a fob run over in the driveway, a blade bent in a door, a case cracked on concrete. The third is the battery, a wear part that drains with use. A fob battery fitted at the car is $20 to $45, or a few dollars at a parts store if you swap it yourself.
How to make a claim
Reach us at (619) 340-1518 by call or text, 7 AM to 9 PM every day, or by email at hello@valuecarkeys.com. Tell us the car, roughly when we made the key, and what it is doing: not starting the car, buttons that do nothing, a blade that catches in the lock.
We ask a few questions first, because a remote that quit is usually a battery, and that answer saves you a wait. If it points to the key, the remote or the programming, we book the visit and put it right at the car, since there is no shop to bring it to.
Registering your key
The form on this page puts your name, mobile number and car with us, so a claim call starts with the job already in front of us. Add the date we made the key and the key type in the notes field, and keep the number (619) 340-1518 somewhere you will find it.
